– The tie-up includes SCREEN’s CTP machines and digital label printing solutions

Nippon Color has announced the availability of sales and service of Screen solutions in India as they aim to help print providers grow and diversify their businesses and become more profitable. This alliance will allow Nippon Color, a leading provider of pre-press equipment and digital printing solutions, to continue to support their large customer base in the Indian printing industry with latest innovations.

SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. (SCREEN GA) is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of production systems for the prepress and printing industries. Their large range of equipment includes the Truepress Jet series of large format inkjet printers, UV inkjet label presses, sheet-fed and web-fed inkjet presses, the Equios workflow system, RIPs, and offset & flexo computer-to-plate (CTP) systems.

CTP/CTCP machines…

Screen was originally introduced in the Indian market by Nippon Group in 1972, successfully grabbing majority market share for their imagesetters and CTP devices. “We are delighted to associate with Screen again after sharing a long successful relation with them in the past. We sold over 600+ CTP/CTCP machines in a span of 15 years. The brand name Screen with Nippon Color resonated with trust and reliability and we want to bring that faithback to our customers,” stated Jayant Pardiwala, CEO of Nippon Color. “We are particularly excited about the new PlateRite series of Thermal CTP, and Flexo CTP systems which are offered with an optional magnetic drum for steel-based plates.”

Digital label printing…

While CTP market remains key to Nippon Color, they are also putting high emphasis on digital technologies. Digital label printing is growing as more and more Flexo printers realize the importance of print on-demand. Screen’s Truepress Jet allows label converters a shorter-turnaround time to market with the benefit of customisation. The Truepress Jet L350UV SAI Series offers seven inks to ensure superior color reproduction while an extra printhead provides optimum scalability.

“Our vision at Nippon Color is to help our industry to transition from analog to digital technologies in a way that it complements print providers’ existing set-up. Screen is known for their innovative and reliable solutions and we are excited to work with them to develop a strong network throughout India,”, added Akshat Pardiwala, COO of Nippon Color.

Focus on India…

India is an important market and it is crucial for Screen to have a representation that can reach and assist customers in the country. This co-operation will give customers reliable solutions to choose from with a strong service back-up from Nippon Color. Nippon Color will be directly working with GA DYNAMIC Pte Ltd (GADP), who are the exclusive agent of SCREEN Graphic Solutions Co., Ltd. The main activities of GADP include sales and technical support on Screen products to their dealers and customers in Southeast Asia, South Asia and Maldives, sales territories of 15 countries.“Nippon Color’s customer-centric approach in the Indian market has enabled us yet again to put our trust in them with our complete product portfolio.
