Devendra Photostat & Lamination unlocks new applications with RICOH

Sonipat-based Devendra Photostat &Lamination has upgraded its digital printing machine portfolio with the addition of a new RICOH Pro C7200X – 11 Colors digital production press. The newly added advanced RICOH digital press has significant advantages in both speed &capability over other presses in its class. It is supplied and installed at Devendra Photostat & Lamination by Monotech Systems, a leading machine manufacturer & one-stop solution provider for the printing and packaging industry globally.

Established in the year 1996 as a mere reprographic shop engaging in photocopy, lamination and such tasks, Devendra Photostat & Lamination took a big turn in business from the year 2011 onward with constant investments in high-end production presses for offset and digital print productions. “We have Komori and Heidelberg presses in our offset printing unit. In the digital printing unit, our machine portfolio includes digital presses like Konica Minolta Bizhub Press C1085, Canon imagePRESS C910, RICOH PRO 8100S, RICOH PRO 8200S and RICOH PRO C7200X being the latest addition,” says Devendra Singh Khokhar, CEO, Devendra Photostat & Lamination.

Devendra is now joined by his young and visionary son Rithik Khokhar in the business. “It has been just a few months since I have joined the business. I particularly look after the printing and production activities in both offset and digital units as well as digital large-format printing unit,” tells Rithik Khokhar, Managing Director, Devendra Photostat & Lamination. He adds, “In addition to commercial printing, we also engage in digital large-format printing for which we have Pixeljet solvent printer. We cherish almost a decade old relationship with Monotech Systems and bought Konica Minolta 6000, Dumor print finishing system, Pixeljet wide format printer and now RICOH PRO C7200X which is our latest buy.”

Devendra Photostat & Lamination is indeed a complete treasure trove of printing, viz. offset, digital and large-format graphics under one roof. “We offer the most comprehensive range of prints using diverse technologies for widest range of products and applications such as catalogues, booklets, leaflets/flyers, brochures, pamphlets, calendars, mailers, business cards, labels, boxes, packaging boxes, outdoor billboards, wall-posters, etc at economical rates,” says Rithik.

Mr. Rithik continues, “Beyond the usual commercial printing or CMYK gamut, we are now navigating across new applications in the digital domain, such as security&confidential printing of certificates and mark-sheets for schools, colleges and universities, using the highly advanced RICOH Pro C7200X digital press which we bought from Monotech Systems.” He adds, “For that we have so far roped in Maa Shakambhari University (Saharanpur), Arunachal University of Studies (Namsai), and Sabarmati University (Ahmedabad), to mention a few.”

According to Rithik, the printing capability of RICOH Pro C7200X digital press with additional special colours helps them unlock new applications. To be precise, the 5^th Color Station of the press delivers gold, silver, white, clear, neon (pink &yellow) and invisible red toners.
