Konica Minolta marks ‘150 Years of Digital Printing Innovation’ with PrintXpress Roadshow
Celebrating the ‘150 Years of Innovations in Digital Printing’, Konica Minolta’s colourfully wrapped PrintXpress buses had a triumphant journey touching the base location once again. The company’s unique ‘PrintXpress – Innovations in Print’ road journey, which was flagged off on March 21, 2023 and concluded after five glorious months, showcased Konica Minolta’s commitment to meeting the unmet and potential clientele across the hinterland of India.
Konica Minolta’s PrintXpress – Innovations in Print road journey campaign covered more than 150 cities across India, focusing on Tier-II, III, & IV cities, with a remarkable in-person attendance of over 3,000 customers, covering a notable distance of more than 48,000 km.
The journey of PrintXpress flagged off from Greater Noida (Delhi-NCR) with four buses outfitted with two digital presses—AccurioPrint C4065 and high-chroma engine AccurioPress C73hc—demonstrating live for visitors who would like to experience the machines’ advancements and explore new business opportunities with them. Also, there was a finished print application zone to provide the visitors an experience of MGI samples.
The PrintXpress campaign buses hit separate routes across the country, demonstrating the AccurioPrints’ functionality in digital printing and print-on-demand to Konica Minolta’s current as well as prospective clients. The buses drove down the towns including Gorakhpur, Samastipur-Tezpur, Ranipet-Gingee, Karwar, Kavali, and others.

The campaign’s philosophy was grounded in the democratisation of efficient, cost-effective printing solutions. Rural businesses often face barriers to access modern printing practices due to limited resources, logistical challenges, and a lack of awareness. During the PrintXpress campaign, over 3,000+ customers, spread across 48,000+ kilometers of the country, experienced the vast potential and applications of digital printing and print-on-demand jobs, realising the economical feasibility with Konica Minolta’s production printers.
