DPA organises open house

Delhi Printers Association (DPA) organised an open house on the topic of ongoing, ‘ever increasing competition within the printing industry thereby reducing the rates substantially’. The event, organized for printers of West Delhi, in Printers Bhawan, Naraina, was well attended by member printers. An interactive open house did make a full justification to its planning. “Ignoring the input costs like of labour and consumables, printers are not all caring,” mentioned Rakesh Bagai of Rakesh Press.

As per Vijay Batra, printers are eating their own capital. “We lose out even to check our own purchase invoices and go on grabbing jobs somehow at any cost,” mentioned Maj Dhawan. Arun Berry, president and Badri Kumar Singh, honorary general secretary of DPA made the opening and concluding statements saying that it is a time for self-assessment and taking out necessary steps in keeping our profitability structure on priority.
