Atul Thakker, Managing Director – Minosha India Ltd. shares their plan for drupa. Excerpts.
P&P: What are the trends in the digital printing segment and how is Minosha adapting to the current trends?
Atul: The growing printing segments in digitals are packaging, print on demand, and transactional printing apart from the other digital printing segments. We at Minosha, are aligned with the trend by providing the latest upgraded Ricoh printing products and solutions which suit the needs of these segments.
P&P: What are the flagship products or innovations that Ricoh plans to showcase at drupa?
Atul: Ricoh Pro Z75 will be entering in the B2 size sheetfed inkjet segment in digital printing. Also on offer will be Ricoh VC80000 – continuous feed inkjet printer for publications, Ricoh Pro C9500 and Ricoh Pro C7500 in the digital cut sheet and software solutions from Ricoh for all the digital printing applications.
P&P: Are there any planned events, presentations, or demonstrations to facilitate networking opportunities? Atul: Ricoh has scheduled product demonstrations, presentations, and product solutions during the exhibition days. These include showcasing the technologies and innovations being used by Ricoh in their products.
P&P: How important it is to be present at drupa?
Atul: drupa bridges the gap between vendors and customers with new launches, new technology, and innovative solutions. Customers experience the latest trends, innovations, and proven products directly in a business context and it helps them to decide on their future business. It is a meeting ground for customers and print solution providers at a common platform.
P&P: Are your existing customers visiting drupa? If yes, what can they expect to find more at Ricoh stand?
Atul: Many of our customers from the digital printing and offset segment are visiting drupa to explore the latest solutions being offered and new technologies. They want to explore the new technologies and products from Ricoh to help them expand or grow their business.
P&P: What are your expectations from drupa in terms of company’s growth and future strategies?
Atul: We expect to launch the new print solution of RICOH in India post-drupa. As the customers have already experienced the solution. It will help us to fulfill the customer’s expectations quickly.
P&P: What are the upcoming offerings from Ricoh for the Indian market?
Atul: Ricoh will be launching the new series sheetfed Inkjet printer Z75 in the future along with the continuous feed inkjet printers VC 40000, VC 60000, and VC 80000. This is in addition to the current offerings in the digital production printers’ lineup in the cut sheet category.
