DPA organises Global Summit of Print Industry
Delhi Printers’ Association (DPA) has organised the Global Summit of Print Industry, a gathering of influential leaders from the printing industries of India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and others, at New Delhi. Held on September 5, 2024 at Constitutional Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi, the summit had Shri Harsh Malhotra, MP, Ministry of Road Transports & Highways and Ministry of Corporate Affairs, as Honorable Chief Guest. Rajendra Kumar Anayath moderated the first panel discussion with panelists: Tushar Dhote, VP, West Zone, AIFMP; Praveen Aggarwal, Incite Home Care Products; Naresh Khanna, Editor, Indian Printer & Publisher; and Neeraj Jain, Chair, FICCI Publishing Committee & IPP.
Rajendra Kumar narrated the history of print in old days and its relevance in the current time. Naresh Khanna discoursed about the importance of growing standardisation in all spheres of the printing industry. Tushar Dhote pointed at the industry witnessing rapid growth with future technologies. In his vision of future sustainability, Praveen Aggarwal mentioned it’s the need of the hour in the industry. Niraj Jain stated the book publishing market in India has been flourishing with tremendous scope of expansion by 2026.
In the second session of panel discussion, it consisted of panelists: Shri Harsh Malhotra; Anil Kariyawasam, President, Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP); Ahmed Mughira Nurnahi, President, Indonesia Print Media Association; and Peter Deckker, IPP–SLAP. The overseas panelists articulated their appreciation about the overall helps and cooperation they received from their Indian counterparts. Shri Harsh, who is a printing veteran, eulogised the overseas counterparts for their graceful presence at the summit.
