Grunewald Kassel GmbH is marking a significant milestone in its long-standing relationship with HP Indigo, celebrating over three decades of collaboration and innovation. The company, which was among the first in Germany to adopt HP Indigo technology, purchased an ePrint 1000 press in 1995, long before HP acquired Indigo in 2002. Today, Grunewald Kassel operates an HP Indigo 7K Digital Press, continuing its tradition of embracing digital printing advancements.

Throughout the years, Grunewald Kassel has benefited from HP Indigo’s Liquid Electro Photography (LEP) technology, allowing them to offer high-quality print products and unique services, including the use of silver and fluorescent inks. Their willingness to explore new possibilities in digital printing has helped set them apart in their market.

Grunewald Kassel has also embraced advancements in software, productivity, and automation, such as the Automatic Alert Agent (AAA), helping the company streamline its operations and deliver exceptional service to its clients. Early adoption of variable data printing (VDP) allowed Grunewald Kassel to offer high-value, personalized print products, further strengthening their position in the industry.

Looking ahead, Michael Grunewald’s son, Tim, is preparing to take over the family business in a few years, ensuring the continuation of this strong partnership into the next generation. “HP Indigo has played a key role in our success over the years, and I’m excited to see what the future holds as we continue to innovate,” said Michael Grunewald, Owner of Grunewald Kassel GmbH.
