The company has recently installed Canon imagePRESS V800, a highly capable compact colour digital production system. Jesy Harry of Sahana Digital, says, “The new imagePRESS V800, which we installed in our production facility in March this year, is our first Canon digital production press from Canon India. We chose this compact and competent machine for adding some zest to our digital printing quality and overall consistency in print outputs, in the meantime, taking productivity to another level.”
She adds, “It has been just a matter of a few months since we started running the iPR V800. As of now, we produce only 30,000 sheets a month, but we know the true capability of the press which we are going to utilise to the fullest soon.”
iPR V800is capable to print graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400x2400dpi produced at the speed of 81 A4 ppm (pages per minute). Media versatility of this digital press is commendable as its compatibly takes in a broadest line of lightweight as well as heavyweight stocks ranging from 52 gsm up to 350 gsm, which include covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to1300 mm (51inch) in length.
