Canon announces entry into commercial photo printing in India

– South Asia’s first commercial inkjet photo printer installed in Bengaluru

Aiming at digitizing India’s 3,000 crore photo print market, Canon came out with next gen alternative to conventional photo printing technology and introduced premium commercial inkjet photo printer. They selected Bengaluru based GK Vale, a 100-year-old photo lab as the first partner, who also operates nine Canon Image Square stores in the city, having installed DreamLabo 5000 in India.

The press announcement event was also attended by Kensaku Konishi – president & CEO, Canon Singapore Pte Ltd.
