After Four Dynamic Days At Bitec, Bangkok, Pack Print International (Ppi) 2025 Closed On A High — A Landmark Edition For Asean’s Packaging And Printing Industries, Held Alongside The Synergistic Corrutec Asia.
The 10th edition of PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL, held from September 17-20, 2025, welcomed 14,327 visitors from 65 countries and regions — a more than 15 percent increase over the 2023 edition. Adding to the buzz on the show floor, the exhibitions welcomed more than 50 visiting delegations and groups from Thailand and abroad, spanning sectors such as FMCG, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals to e-commerce, logistics, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing. Among them were the All India Federation of Master Printers and Graphic Arts (Taiwan), as well as local groups from Amarin Corporations, J. Charoen Interprint, SMK Printing, Sunshine Press, U L Printing and Packaging, and more – reflecting the broad cross-section of stakeholders drawn to the exhibition and the rising regional demand for sustainable solutions, digitalisation, and cross-sector innovation.
For first-time visitor Naman Bansal of Reeso Procurement Pvt. Ltd (India), the show was a gateway to understanding the region, “PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL has been a perfect platform for us to explore and better understand the Thai and wider Asian market, particularly in terms of new printing and packaging technologies. The strong international profile of suppliers and manufacturers, combined with the variety and cost-effective technologies on display, has made this a highly valuable showcase — enabling us to connect directly with the right partners and potential suppliers.”
Exhibitions that deliver real business
Since its launch in 2007, PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL has grown into one of Southeast Asia’s most trusted platforms for business, innovation, and knowledge exchange. This milestone edition reaffirmed its role as the go-to stage for regional companies and international brands to present the latest technologies, eco-friendly solutions, and smart design applications to decisionmakers and buyers.
The show floor buzzed with energy — from live demonstrations of high-speed presses, smart converting equipment, and sustainable raw materials, to business negotiations that resulted in machinery sold and deals closed.
For Nationwide Co. Ltd, a leading Thai importer and distributor of printing machinery and products, the exhibition proved equally rewarding. “PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2025 has been an outstanding success for us. We closed several deals on the first day of the exhibition directly on the show floor and were proud to introduce the latest digital press solutions from Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress series to a highly engaged audience. The level of interest and the quality of conversations have been very productive, reaffirming the exhibition as the most important platform for us in the region. We’ve already secured our booth for the 2027 edition — a clear testament to the value we see in being part of this exhibition,” said Thanachai Kongthaisereekul, Deputy Managing Director, Nationwide.
As a leading partner to Thailand’s printing, packaging, and food processing industries, C. Illies (Thailand) reported an exceptional edition. Dominik Bienkowski, Managing Director, noted: “At this edition, we showcased a new concept boxing machine designed for short-run packaging jobs, alongside portfolio highlights that deliver the best ROI in folding carton printing. This year exceeded expectations — we met decision-makers, suppliers, and both long-standing and new customers. The exhibition was very busy, and for us it truly achieved our objectives. Southeast Asia, and Thailand in particular, is the place to be for the printing and packaging industry — if you want to meet the people that matter, you have to be here.”
Knowledge, collaboration, and industry leadership
Alongside strong business outcomes, the exhibitions also served as vital platforms for knowledge-sharing and thought leadership. From insightful seminars on sustainable and innovative packaging to the Print Innovation 2025 Symposium and Asian Print Awards 2025 Showcase, participants were able to explore the ideas and technologies shaping the sector’s future.
Assoc. Professor Lerpong Jarupan, Head of the Department of Packaging & Materials Technology (PKMT), Kasetsart University, reflected on the value of these sessions: “Events like PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL are invaluable because they combine business opportunities with knowledge exchange. The seminars provide a platform for academia, industry, and policymakers to come together — to share ideas, debate solutions, and shape the future of packaging and printing in a more sustainable and technology-driven direction.”
That spirit of collaboration was echoed by joint organiser of PPI, The Thai Packaging Association which played a central role in supporting SMEs through the OneStop Consultancy Clinic. Wiwat Utsahajit, President of The Thai Packaging Association, noted, “This year’s PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL has been a tremendous success, not only in the strong turnout and vibrant business activity but also in the value-added platforms we were able to provide. The One-Stop Consultancy Clinic was particularly well received, giving SMEs and businesses direct access to expert guidance on packaging design, sustainable materials, and regulatory requirements. It was rewarding to see so many companies benefit from practical advice that can help them innovate and compete more effectively.”
For the Thai printing sector, the exhibition continues to deliver strategic value by bridging global trends with local needs. Pongthira Pathanapiradej, President of The Thai Printing Association, and joint organiser of PPI, added, “The exhibition has once again demonstrated its importance to the Thai printing industry. PPI provided an essential stage for showcasing the latest digital and traditional printing technologies, as well as smart solutions that are driving the industry forward. For our members, it was especially valuable to engage directly with international suppliers, explore eco-friendly printing practices, and connect with partners across the value chain.”
Shaping what’s next
According to Gernot Ringling, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, “Once again, the co-location of PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL and CorruTec ASIA has created a comprehensive platform that brings
together the entire spectrum of packaging, printing, and corrugated packaging solutions. Together, these exhibitions go beyond product showcases — they serve as marketplaces of ideas, collaboration, and forward-looking solutions. The strong growth in visitor numbers and business activity this year reaffirms their role as essential meeting points for ASEAN’s industries, driving innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable progress across the region.”
Echoing this sentiment from the visitor’s perspective, Sumonthip Santiwanakul, Chief Executive Office, B.O. Paper (Thailand) added, “The exhibition really meets our needs in helping us choose the right machines for our business. It is my first time here and I have already met potential partners to collaborate with.”
With participation from 309 exhibiting brands from 26 countries and regions, and thousands of trade visitors, PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL and CorruTec ASIA 2025 have set new benchmarks for scale, reach, and impact. As Southeast Asia’s industries accelerate their shift toward sustainability, digitalisation, and innovation, these exhibitions will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of packaging, printing, and corrugated sectors.
