Pre-press seminar cum training at print mecca Sivakasi

Heidelberg India organised a seminar on ‘prepress’ at Sivakasi, reinforcing its dominance and success in a key market. The event, which was held at the Sivakasi Master Printer Association Hall, witnessed huge participation from close to 100 printers in and around the printing hub of South India. The well-attended seminar included sessions on prepress and Heidelberg solutions portfolio.

The seminar was followed by a two-day training session on pre press at the same venue. The session, conducted in batches, was interactive, as enthusiastic participants created their own prepress files with the help of Heidelberg’s Prinect Workflow. Heidelberg experts expounded on prepress tools and options, including the creation of qualified PDF, imposition, integration, colour correction, trapping and coating etc. Demos on various tools related to the Seminar Workflow were also shown to the printers.
