Gutenberg Festival celebrated with fervor

The Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) remembered the father of modern printing technology, Johannes Gutenberg, and celebrated Gutenberg festival at F2 Raceway, South City. Besides members and families of the association, as many as 200 printers from the northern region also participated in the function. Speaking at the function, Parveen Aggarwal, president, OPA Ludhiana, said that the festival was an annual feature to pay tribute to the inventor of printing technology. He said by inventing the printing press, Gutenberg had helped spread truth and knowledge.

Besides the members of OPA, printers from Jammu, Jagraon, Jalandhar, Phagwara, Amritsar and Moga also took part in these celebrations.
