Konica Minolta trails on a string of roadshows and expos

A string of roadshows and expos over the last couple of months or so witnessed what Konica Minolta Business Solutions India is up to. The company pulled strong crowds all over the places presenting its line of versatile production presses with a gamut of related products and technologies.

Photo print excellence

A landmark participation of Konica Minolta in the Photo Today 2015 recently at Vijayawada opened up broader prospects pertaining to photography, videography and digital imaging. Put up attractively at the company’s stand were KM C1085 and C70hc with printXpress software to manage the image printing workflow, alongside KM bizhub PRESS C1060 that can print on wide variety of media and can provide the flexibility to print on media up to 13×47 inch for book covers and many others.

In addition, a full page in the album like ‘a traditional RGB album’ can also be churned on KM bizhub PRESS C1060 to the demands of customers. Moreover, KM C70hc takes variety of media from 65 to 300 gsm and paper sizes up to 13×47 inch; coupled with printXpress software, it provides a complete workflow for customers to design, manage and print photo albums.

Back to back roadshows

With an aim to present complete competency of its product range and capture some leads, Konica Minolta’s recent Gujarat Roadshow in Ahmedabad demonstrated KM bizhub PRESS C1060, which attracted digital printing press owners, lab owners, among others. It was an opportunity for the company to position itself as a genre-top provider for secure document solutions, addressing the need for ‘paper’ security solutions and increase awareness of Security System Integrators that is typically focussed on premise security solutions or logical access control limited to only the PC/network.

Similarly, the company impressively participated in the HID Roadshow held at Sivakasi, showing its KM bizhub PRESS C1085 and KM bizhub PRESS C1060. The Process cum Product Development Centre (PPDC) Sales & Service team was also present in order to ensure smooth running of the whole event. The KM bizhub PRESS C1060 digital colour press delivers fast print/copy output of up to 60 ppm, with superior colour photo image quality, purpose-built reliability and simple touchscreen control. They also organised road show in cities like Mumbai, Siliguri, Thanjavur and Nagpur to demonstrate their PP products.

Security printing

Making its presence felt impressively Konica Minolta participated in HID Secure Identity Xperience held recently in Mumbai. The event focussed on security system integrators, consultants as well as enterprise customers. At the show, Konica Minolta demonstrated solutions information security through KM bizhub C3350, PSES and HID Card Reader for its MFPs. For a high-quality, low-cost colour solution in networked MFP environments, bizhub C3350 colour multifunction laser printer remains an ideal choice.

At the event, Konica Minolta also provided a slot for presenting its ‘Security Proposition’ during which the company highlighted the gap in information security focus/offerings wherein tend to secure doors (Physical Access Control) and Windows (OS – Logical Access Control), but between the Premise & PC the important lacunae of securing Paper is often ignored which is now addressed comprehensively only with Konica Minolta solutions.

Award-wining stall

In a different swing, impression that Konica Minolta transpired during the recent Print & Packtec World Expo 2015 in Bengaluru was not only its magnificent showcases of resourceful machines but its exhibition stall, which was awarded ‘Second Best Stall’ in the show. Attractively showcased at the award-winning stall of the company included KM bizhub PRESS C1085 and bizhub PRESS 1052 featured with advanced technologies.
