Punjab Kesari Group sends 414th truck of relief materials to J&K migrants
In view of helping migrants living in the refuses of conflict zones in the border areas of J&K, Punjab Kesari Group (Jalandhar) has been sending relief materials of daily use to those deprived civilians since October 10, 1999. Till date, 414 trucks from the news media group have been dispatched to the migrants residing in different villages in the border areas. Just recently, the 414th truck of relief materials to the villagers of Bari Brahmana at Samba in J&K was flagged off by Acharya Dev Vrat, governor of Himachal Pradesh with the sponsorship from Sanjiv Sood, press representative, Kot Ise Khan, Moga; Vijay Kumar Chopra, CMD & editor-in-chief, Punjab Kesari Group, Jalandhar; Rajesh Bagga, director, Apee Jay Institute; Aslam Sher Khan, ex- MP; Lion JB Singh Chaudhary, Prince Ashok Grover, Rakesh Gupta, DR Bhatti, ex-DGP, Punjab; Kamal Chaudhary, ex- MP; Sushma Berlia, chairman, Apee Jay Education Trust; Maninderjit Singh Bitta, chairman, Anti-Terrorist Front; Nirmal Singh, dy chief minister, J&K; Navjot Kaur Sidhu; KD Bhandari, Satnam Singh Kainth; Rajinder Beri, Seth Sat Mal, among others.
