Ricoh Pro 7100 installed at new set-up in Chennai

Omkar Prints, a new digital printing setup in Chennai, has installed a Ricoh Pro 7100 just one month back. A Ricoh Pro 7100 can print upto 13 x 27inches at a resolution of 1200 x 4800 dpi and it can support maximum 360 gsm. “We are doing variable-date printing jobs on this machine and are planning to introduce more special media into digital segment. We have taken 1,01,000 prints with this machine in our first month of installation. We are planning to reach a target of 1.5 lakh prints per month,” said Yogesh of Omkar Prints.

On being asked about the support they received from Ricoh, he shared, “Ricoh sales team and service support team guided me a lot in terms of pro partnership programme and business promotion activities.” Talking about how to achieve early ROI on this machine, he added, “I am just planning to expand the possibilities in digital printing, for example, by promoting Tyvek & Metpet media, which can be printed through this machine, and attract more customers through personalised prints and innovative printing solution with better print coat.”
