New vice president for Canon India Pvt Ltd

Canon India Pvt. Ltd has recently appointed Eddie Udagawa as the new vice president of the company, further strengthening its senior leadership team. Udagawa, in his new capacity, will be leading the Consumer Imaging and Information Centre (CII) division. The Consumer Imaging and Information Centre (CII) embraces both Consumer Systems Products (CSP) for laser and inkjet printers and Image Communication Products (ICP) for camera products. The CSP division offers printers for consumers as well as enterprise across different verticals. And, the ICP division mainly works around the sale and positioning of DSLR cameras & lenses, high functionality compact cameras and professional video cameras.

As the Head of the CII division, Udagawa will be responsible for the supervision and development of the Canon Imaging Communications Products (ICP) business and Consumer System Products (CSP) business in India. He undertakes the position with the vision to escalate the market share and strategize growth plans to take Canon India to new heights.

Associated with Canon for over 31 years now, he has worked closely with various overseas markets. His predecessor, Andrew Koh will be taking over the Malaysian market as the president and CEO, Canon Malaysia. He has spent valuable 4 years in India to strengthen the CII business unit.
