New DuPont Cyrel digital plate for post-print corrugated printers

DuPont Advanced Printing (DuPont) has added a new plate to its DuPont Cyrel EASY plate platform. The new DuPont Cyrel EASY EPC is a soft digital plate with a built-in flat top dot developed especially for the post-print corrugated printers. It delivers the highest quality image reproduction while minimizing the fluting effect when printing on a wide variety of corrugated boards.

These plates simplify the prepress process with built-in flat top digital dots, resulting in increased productivity and consistency. This is part of an on-going effort by DuPont to improve quality, sustainability and productivity for flexographic printing.

Key features that benefit corrugated printers include: simplified workflow that results in higher consistency; excellent ink transfer with superior printing uniformity; high exposure resolution that yields better quality reproduction; and less make-ready time that improves press productivity.
