Based in Karimnagar in Telangana, Pooja Digitals is a connoisseur in printing and production of a dazzling range of photo albums, unlike the ordinaries. The reason behind it is the printing firm’s recent adoption of an MGI JETvarnish 3D supplied by Konica Minolta. Installed in mid-December 2016, adoption of MGI JETvarnish 3D at their production facility has accelerated the overall quality in production at Pooja Digitals to a new grade. Elated to the newly garnered capability, Rajesh Reddy of the leading photo album firm said the new 3D varnishing system has opened a new window of prospects in print enhancement. Inaugurated by Yuji Nakata, MD, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt Ltd, the award-winning JETvarnish 3D takes digital spot UV coating to a new dimension, featuring increased throughput for flat spot UV jobs and amazing 3D effects.

Incepted in the year 2009 with Noritsu QSS-3701 Lab at Karimnagar in Telangana, Pooja Digitals immediately expanded with a new branch at Jagityal with a FUJI Frontier 370. “When we observed the technology trending to convert from Karizma albums to light weight NT albums we invested in first Konica Minolta C70hc in 2012. With the new Konica Minolta machine we gained a new level of success in the photo book segment. As demand for print volume spiralling rapidly we upgraded our portfolio with a new bizhub PRESS C8000 in 2013. Then we opened a new branch at Nizamabad with another Konica Minolta system, KM C71hc, in 2015,” narrated Rajesh.

When enquired why they went for MGI JETvarnish 3D, Rajesh said when print enhancement became a ‘standard requirement’ in photo album business they were in need of a system to meet their pursuit. He added, “And our adoption of the MGI JETvarnish was big a turn as we noticed the sharpness of emboss that the machine could churn in a much better way than any other systems in the class. AIS Smart Scanner in the machine made process easy and time saving by eliminating registration marks.”

In addition to the line of KM presses, Pooja Digitals boasts a line of other high-end systems, which include an HP Indigo 3550. For Konica Minolta, demands for their MGI JETvarnish 3D machine is gaining a new ground with some of the leading commercial printing firms in different parts of the country have adopted the resourceful print enhancement system—the customers are, Dina Colour Lab (Chennai), Varun B Corporation (Surat) and Shree Vibgyor Colour Lab (Raipur).
