AIFMP launches new schemes for career in printing

With a vision to promote print education in India and to prompt the young generation to adopt printing as a career, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) has come out with a few schemes. These include scholarship for girl student wishing to adopt printing as a career. AIFMP will offer maximum Rs. 50,000 per annum towards her tuition fees, till the completion of her studies in printing. One scholarship in each region (viz. North, East, South and West) will be awarded on merit-cum-financial status basis.

The federation has also announced stipend of Rs 1500 for economically weaker but meritorious students studying Diploma in any branch of Printing in India. Total 10 students will be selected every year at pan India level on merit-cum-financial status basis.

The federation has also announced three Gold Medals – one each for outstanding student of Diploma, B Tech and M Tech in any branch of printing every year.
