– first step to a profitable future!

Glimpse of IPEX South Asia 2009.The Indian counterpart of the international renowned printing show IPEX (held every four years in Birmingham, UK), IPEX South Asia now in its third edition will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai from September 16-19, 2011. There have been many initiatives taken by the organizers which include getting more international companies to participate in the show by reducing the participation charges to the tune of 35 to 45 percent compared to the last edition. The most common view of the industry during IPEX in Birmingham, UK in May last year was that India is one of the most important markets along with China and Brazil for many international companies. So, the interest for IPEX South Asia 2011 has been extremely positive, with support from many international and Indian suppliers. “India is a very important market for Shuttleworth and IPEX South Asia has again proved itself as an outstanding exhibition in the region. Bringing the show to Mumbai has brought us closer to our biggest market in India,” said Andy King, Shuttleworth Business Systems. According to Puneet Datta, Canon India, “IPEX South Asia 2009 had indeed been successful for Canon India, rendering a platform where fruitful results and prospective leads were generated. We are looking ahead for IPEX South Asia 2011.” Companies like Konica Minolta, The Printer House, Ricoh, Riso, GMC and many more have already confirmed their participation.

To make the show rather effective, a pan-regional marketing campaign will target visitors with decision-making authority to visit the exhibition, free of charge, from across the length and breadth of India as well as Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. It also aims to attract senior buyers from markets like the UAE.

“We are pleased to announce the support of the Delhi Printers’ Association (DPA) and the North India Printers’ Association (NIPA) to IPEX South Asia 2011. Mumbai being the commercial hub for the Indian market is also well connected to the North and South of India along with the international market. Hence, it’s one of the best locations to get the entire South Asian print industry under one roof,” said Nicky Mason, managing director, Informa Exhibitions India.
