At drupa 2012, VINSAK mainly focused on its two broad pillars i.e. pre-press and brand protection solutions. A full suite of VINSAK pre-press solutions was showcased to the international audience. The products included VINSAK TPS1160 thermal CtP platesetter, VINSAK TPP1300 thermal CtP plate processor, VINSAK range of thermal CtP plates and VINSAK analog plates for the printing industry. The show helped gain significant brand awareness for VINSAK across many nations of Europe, Mediterranean, Africa and Latin America. This is in addition to a strong presence in India and UAE markets where VINSAK is already present.
“Prospects were delighted to see the range of thermal CtP plates offered by VINSAK, under Marathon (very long run), Sprint (very high quality) and Pace (every day use). This range of plates offer printers a wide latitude of jobs to be produced on VINSAK plate solutions that cater very well to commercial print, service bureaus, publishing, packaging and newspaper segments of the industry,” conveyed Sankarshanan, vice president. “Our innovative suite of security software, security and special purpose inks, special purpose hot stamping dies, and printing equipment positioned the company to offer complete solution to any brand owner to protect them against counterfeiting,” added Neeraj Sharma, general manager – sales.
VINSAK also announced the sale of its first VINSAK VIS 1200 inkjet system on the fourth day of drupa and also bagged many orders for various post-printing machines including pile turners, punching machines, banding machines, plate washing, and sheet counting machines. “Start of a new financial year with the success of drupa is a good start for us, which will keep us busy in serving our existing customers with new solutions and welcoming new customers to our company,” said Neeraj.

Meanwhile, Creed Engineers tied-up with Spain based LEMU, in order to distribute fully automatic paper converting machines for Indian market. The complete range of LEMU products include fully as well as semi-automatic machines suitable for various applications such as cash register, fax, ATM, lottery (thermal paper rolls), streamers, photographic, and large diameter rolls. For paper applications, slitter-rewinders, unwinders, inline flexo printing machines and finishing line are available in LEMU’s product portfolio. The company also providing rewinders, and folding box packaging and box filling machines for aluminium/film applications.
LEMU already has number of installations in India and sub continent markets. “There is a clear benefit being derived out of the synergy of association of Creed Engineers and LEMU, which will have a value addition to our product portfolio to serve the Indian printing and packaging industry,” said Neeraj.
Vinsak also introduced Imagesolv, described as a green alternative to perchloroethylene. Natural additives ensure cleaning efficiency to increase the plate’s life and reduce cost. In addition to being environmentally friendly, special features and benefits of Imagesolv include low odour, low toxicity, fast processing and less maintenance. Besides, the company has already launched Vinsak 256 and Vinsak 1200 ink jets systems for non-absorbent substrates in the Indian market.
