India bags two first place awards

HP Print Excellence Awards 2012

To recognise the best examples of creativity and print quality produced across HP’s digital portfolio, the presentation of the HP Print Excellence Awards to winners took place at a celebratory evening in their honour in Düsseldorf on May 3. There were seven first place winners from Asia Pacific, including two companies from India: one HP Indigo user Essel Propack Ltd who was awarded in flexible packaging category, and other HP Scitex user JMD Digital Art Xchange Pvt Ltd who was awarded as a sign and display first place winner in the category of exhibitions & events.

The competition recognises print excellence in 21 categories across commercial print, sign and display, and labels and packaging applications. This year’s competition had a strong showing from Asia Pacific – with over 290 entries across all award categories.
