Beirut to host the first SND

An Nahar News Design conference and workshop in Middle East

In a time of great change in the region, the media industry is also transforming; the challenge is now to adapt to and absorb these new trends. Given this scenario, An-Nahar and Society for News Design (SND) have joined hands to organize the first News Design Conference in the Middle East, which will be held in Beirut from November 8-9, this year. The visual aspect of publications matters across platforms. In a world where the visual element has become very important, design must evolve with the times. Thus the conference will have focus sessions on newspaper design and redesign, information graphics and platforms such as web and tablet.
