IBP to organise 25th condensed course for publishing professionals

For the publishing professionals who wish to update their knowledge in the field of publishing, Institute of Book Publishing (IBP) is organising 25th (Silver Jubilee) condensed course on publishing, a ten-day lecture and workshop programme during Nobember 19-28, 2012.

Persons enrolled for the course will be taught by India’s top luminaries in the publishing industry. The course has been designed to update knowledge regarding different aspects of publishing. Comprehensively the course will facilitate to understand new technological developments and nitty-gritty of publishing ready to meet the challenges lying ahead. During the period of study, the professionals will have chance to go for field visits to publishing, processing, printing and binding house aprat from the opportunity to interact with the faculty, course directors and the speakers. At the weekend there will also be a sight-seeing trip to Agra or Jaipur.

OP Ghai Scholarship: since 1995, the institute has been facilitaing scholership in memory of OP Ghai, the founding chairman of the institute. Tha candidates wish to compete should submit a two-page write up on the topic ‘How Digital Publishing can Improve Educational Resources?’ A panel of judges will evaluate the submission and the highest scorer will be awarded with the schollership. The selected candidate will be given 50 percent concession on tuition fee.
