Silver Prints invests in manroland for packaging venture

to offer superior quality products
Hyderabad-based Silver Prints has installed a five-colour ROLAND 700 offset press for their new packaging venture. The press is fully equipped to cater to the company’s products for the growing packaging sector in Andhra Pradesh.

To furnish the growing demand for metallized folded cartons in Hyderabad Silver Prints decided to invest in a five colour UV press with inter-deck and end of press UV lamps, the ROLAND 700 is equipped with multiple time-saving features such as auto roller wash, auto blanket wash, quick change surface, universal substrate thickness range capable of printing on all substrates between 0.04mm to 1mm. The machine has been procured from Spain and was manufactured in 1997. As per RV Rama Raju, owner, Silver Prints, “We decided to invest in a manroland press for our packaging plant since it is a proven technology in the packaging segment. We had a wonderful experience with the manroland team during the installation and the company offered complete support for after sales service, spares and maintenance of the press.”

Silver Prints clients include big publishing houses, major players in the food sector and pharmaceutical industry in Andhra Pradesh. The company now plans to target major FMCG companies such as ITC, Britannia in the Southern states.

With over thirty years of experience in the print industry, Silver Prints caters to both commercial and packaging segments. The company produces folded cartons for food and pharma sector offering conventional and metallized board monocartons, laminated cartons, cigarette cartons and fluted cartons. In their commercial printing plant, they produce a complete array of promotional material such as brochures, leaflets, calendars etc. “We are keen to expand in the packaging sector as there is a healthy demand from the consumer goods and pharmaceutical sector in Hyderabad. We plan to continuously invest in our packaging plant to upgrade thetechnology to offer superior quality products to our clients,” added Raju.
