Mimaki launches tabletop type LED-UV curing flatbed printer

More advanced than the conventional UJF-3042 series that support A3 size, Mimaki has introduced UJF-6042, which supports the wider A2 size with the advanced function such as 6-colour process colour + white and 150 mm height. Adding on top of the larger print size, UJF-6042 has actualised more precise and more vivid image quality by adopting the three unique functions i) a ball screw type head conveyance mechanism which was equipped so far only in high-end machines; ii) a higher resolution print mode 1,800 x 1,800 dpi; and iii) a variable dot with the minimum size of 4 pico litre, which enables a smoother gradation. UJF-6042 supports A2 size and 150 mm height and enhances image quality with a high precision conveyance mechanism and a higher resolution print mode. Along with the enhancement of the printing resolution and the accuracy of the ink drop onto the substrate, a variable dot with the minimum size of 4 pico litre is incorporated, enabling near-photo image quality. The larger flatbed of UJF-6042 enables printing on two facing pages of the A2 size graphics. The UV ink is printable on various kinds of substrates, including coated paper, cast-coated paper, leather, acrylic, wood, and metal.
