Relying on Edale for flexo printing

Edale recently announced the sale of a four colour 510 mm fully servo driven Gamma flexo printing press to a longstanding customer, Halwani Brothers, based in Jeddah, Middle East. The Gamma is Edale’s fully servo-driven printing and converting system combining finest print quality with innovative features ensuring high speed changeovers, minimum downtime and minimum wastage. The system features servo drives on each print head providing pre-register, auto-register and print length control features which, when combined with the revolutionary print head design, ensures job change times and setup wastage are kept to a minimum.

Halwani Brothers are one of the best-known food manufacturers in the Middle East, achieving large growth year on year; not only with food production but also the quality of the packaging. Due to their focus on packaging, more sophisticated equipment was needed to aid with the production, so while moving to their new factory in 2011, the company took the decision to purchase an Edale Gamma after having an older Edale model – E430 press.
