INDIA PACK 2013 marks a huge success

After a glorious inauguration by D Purandeswari, union minister of state for Commerce and Industry, Govt of India, the buyer seller meet at IndiaPack 2013 got off to a very promising start. Business worth over 50000USD was confirmed within a few hours on the first day itself. The seven countries who participated in the Buyer Seller meet were Bangladesh, Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Taiwan.

Welcoming the participating countries, S K Ray, Chairman IIP said, “When there is hardly any face to face connection between the buyers and sellers because of digital media, we think that this maiden initiative of Buyer Seller meet will be beneficial for the industry.”

Dr NC Saha, director IIP added, “IIP has started this initiative for the first time. We invited industries from abroad along with the members of World Packaging Organization and Asian Packaging Federation. The success of this meet has been possible by the presence of a lot of delegates.”
