Javier Larraz, director & GM, Graphics Solutions Business – Large-Format Printing Design, HP Asia Pacific and Japan and Ramon Pastor, vice president & GM, Large-Format Printing Business, HP were recently in New Delhi to spearhead the growth of printing solutions for proofing process and other applications. Delivering large-format printing through cloud computing technology from virtually anywhere, new HP Designjet T120 and T520 ePrinter series provide simple and affordable printing solutions to on-the-go users. This 24-inch HP Designjet T120 ePrinter series is ideal for freelancers and students while the other 24 and 36-inch HP Designjet T520 ePrinter series is designed for small AEC teams in need of fast, professional printing.

Comfortably mobile

HP has a second generation of its free web service for AEC professionals (HP Designjet ePrint and Share) which makes it easy to access and print large-format printouts using an iOS or Android tablet or smartphone, a laptop or ePrinter touch screen. In this respect, Ramon Pastor remarked, “The expanded HP Designjet portfolio helps our customers stay connected where the job takes them and allows first-time the large-format buyers to easily and affordably bring their printing needs in house. Our new line-up also addresses the demands of today’s competitive business environment, which requires AEC workers to be highly mobile, spending more than 50 percent of their time out of office.” In this contex, Javier Larraz mentioned, “HP’s new large-format printing solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers around the world, providing the connectivity, flexibility and efficiency that today’s businesses require.”

Easier than expected

Available through a desktop web browser, mobile application or the touch screen of web-connected HP Designjet printers, the latest version of HP Designjet ePrint & Share offers the ability to e-mail any document to an HP Designjet ePrinter for printing. Mahesh Soni, country manager, Designjet – HP India asserted, “We are seeing an increased complexity in the work environment with the growth of mobile devices and the use of ‘cloud’ services. Information workers today must be equipped with smarter solutions that would result in sharing and creating information anywhere and anytime on any device. They need a solution that enables them to collaborate and interact with their peers beyond the internal and external peripheries.”
