In the year 1993, the company launched online UPS systems, developed using totally indigenous technology.

TDS microcontroller with multi mode monitor is the latest development in the field of power electronics for controlling bidirectional Servo motor for getting instant and accurate regulation through buck & boosting technology. Its controller section keeps the nominal output voltage within + 0.5 to one percent. Simultaneously, it also maintains high/low cut off temperature overload single phase preventer and short circuit protection. Front panel is also provided with set of press switches to set different electrical parameters which vanes with capacity of the stabilizer. While its display section measures and displays input voltage, output voltage, output current and chamber temperature. Password protection is also provided in the TDS microcontroller for safety of the equipment.

Designed to ensure that the mains voltage remains stable even if the incoming mains voltage drift is high or low, NEI voltage regulator/stabilizers are characterized by high efficiency and are completely unaffected by power factor, load and frequency variations. Available for outdoor/indoor use as per requirement, these regulators are suitable for supplying resistive, inductive or capacitive load. Neither radio interference nor additional harmonics occur within the permissible operation range.

NEI automatic Servo stabilizer operates on a closed loop control. The output voltage is measured and compared with a high-stable reference in an electronic control unit. Whenever the output /voltage deviates from the reference for more than one percent (standard), the servo drive is switched on until the output voltage has again reached the nominal value i.e 230 + 1 percent.

Generally, the received utility power is of very poor quality. Apart from black-outs and brown-outs, problems of high voltage spikes, surges and earth leakages are also present. It is mainly because of under rated transmission system, improper maintenance of associated switch gears, loose connections, sparking and dry earthing. There are certain applications which are termed as ‘sensitive’, such as CNC machines, computer controlled printing machines, and high capacity on line UPS. These sensitive loads contain semiconductor devices which are highly prone to get damaged due to the presence of aforesaid problems. With the use of isolation transformer, apart from providing isolation, all the aforesaid problems, riding over utility power are eliminated. Three phases isolation transformer with delta input and star output also provides artificial neutral. By connecting neutral of star winding with perfect created earth, it provides perfect artificial neutral with zero potential, irrespective of poor quality of input neutral.
