Edelmann Group acquires Janus Packaging in India

An important step in the Indian market, Edelmann Group, one of the leading German manufacturers of packaging materials, has acquired 65 percent share of Solan-based Janus Packaging in India. With its strong manpower of 2,000 employees, Edelmann Group is ranked 11th in the list of the world’s largest packaging specialists. Today, the company achieves 52 percent of its sales outside Germany and they are present in other cities like Mexico City, Beijing and Warsaw with their own production facilities.
