-Acquires Metrix Software, celebrates 10 years of Printcafe acquisition

EFI, a world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, has acquired the Edmonds, Washington-based automated print planning and imposition technology company operating as Metrix Software. The Metrix team has joined EFI, including Metrix CEO and founder Rohan Holt, who is now director of EFI Metrix products.

Besides, the company is marking the 10-year anniversary of its acquisition of Printcafe, a leading provider of MIS/ERP solutions for printing operations. This acquisition represented the birth of “the new EFI,” paving the way for the company to evolve by becoming more focused on the growth areas of the industry while helping customers transform their own businesses.
