Ramakrishnan retires from Heidelberg after three decades

A well-respected and trusted name among the printing fraternity of South India, Ramakrishnan, served as the regional sales manager of Heidelberg India. His retirement will bring to a close, a remarkable career of three-decades of continuous service to the company.

Ramakrishnan started his career as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Gemini Colour Laboratory in Chennai. He joined Heidelberg in finance section but soon the company realized that he had a knack for sales and asked him to nurture and groom the Kerala territory to start with. From then on, there was no looking back. His growth story is spectacular. One of his greatest achievements was establishing and strengthening the Heidelberg brand in Sivakasi. He also handled prestigious accounts like RR Donnelly, ITC printing division in Chennai…and Srinivas Fine Arts, Lovely Offset Printers, Safire Offset, Bell Group to name a few in gaining an entry for Heidelberg range of products in Sivakasi against tough competition.

Klaus Nielsen, managing director of Heidelberg India, stated, “Ramakrishnan’s sales profile reflects his high values and ethics. His great rapport with the customers brought us repeat orders. We appreciate his dedication and loyalty to Heidelberg.”

While, Nagarajan, managing director of Chennai-based Nagaraj and Company (Amra Press), commended Ramakrishnan, as a “reliable salesman with integrity.” He has now joined Menaka Cards, the leading wedding cards manufacturers in South India.
