Shaheed Parivar Fund organises 103th distribution function

In the 103rd distribution function of the Shaheed Parivar Fund held recently, a financial help of Rs 20, 00,000 was distributed to 100 terrorists’ victim families in the shape of fixed deposit receipts (so far a sum of Rs 12,87,86,382 has been collected in the fund out of which a sum of Rs 9,76,16,122 has been distributed amongst 8,161 families).

Virbhadra Singh, union minister for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises was the chief guest, and Shivraj V Patil, governor, Punjab presided over the function. While Sukhbir Singh Badal, chief minister, Punjab; Pawan kumar Bansal, union minister for parliamentary affairs; AB Bardhan, national general secretary CPI; Maninderjit Singh Bitta, president, All Anti Terrorists’ Front, Punjab; C Paul Singh IPS (retd) inspector general of police; Sewa Singh Sekhwan, minister of education, Punjab; Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, former chief minister & leader of opposition, Punjab;  Balramji Dass Tandon, former minister, Punjab; Rakesh Bharti Mittal, vice chairman, Bharti Enterprises; Sarwan Singh Phillaur, chief parliamentary secretary; Baba Kashmira Singh, founder chairman, SGL Charitable Hospital, Jalandhar; Vijay Kumar Chopra, CMD, Punjab Kesari Group Rana KP Singh, MLA, Nangal and PC Dogra, IPS (retd) DGP, Punjab also graced the function.
