The inaugural World Printers Forum conference will be held in Amsterdam on October 15-16, 2014, where printers can hear the latest on innovations in print around the world! This conference takes place during the World Publishing Expo. The World Printers Forum (WPF) is a new initiative by WAN-IFRA for the newspaper printing and production community including both experts from newspaper printing and production operations and vendors of related equipment. This Forum will address the issues of concern to the printing community and will work to bring innovation to all areas of newspaper production.

Among the confirmed speakers include: Saranga Wijeyarathne, marketing director of Ceylon Newspapers in Sri Lanka; Bjarne Tormodsgard, editor-in-chief of the local newspaper Hallingdølen in Norway; Rodd K Winscott, president of Newsweb Corporation’s printing division in the United States and an advocate of digital printing; and Paul Egglestone, digital coordinator of the Media Innovation Studio at the School of Journalism and Media at the University of Central Lancashire.
