Printers associations from 53 cities visit InterPrint Expo India, Ludhiana

With business worth more than Rs 5 crore, the four day event InterPrint Expo India at Ludhiana was held from October 10-13, 2014. The event was unique in many ways, the record presence of presidents of printers’ associations of 53 cities at Ludhiana is definitely a landmark worth appreciating. As many as 63 exhibitors participated in the show incluing RICOH, Autoprint, Canon, HCL, Monotech, Riso, Konika Minolta, Friends Engg, Sandeep Engineers, Jindal Offset, Micro Inks, New Morning Star, Surjeet Engineering, Acme Sales Corpn., Condot System, Insight Communication, Kulwinder Stitching, Gayatri Machines, Jai Deep Machine Tool, Janta Printing & Packaging Machines, MB Industries, Pioneer Graphics, Priority Impex, Senior Machinery and many more.

The show was inaugurated by Mahesh Khanna, GM Industries (represented the state of Punjab); S S Dhillon, director MSME (represented the GoI); Avijit Mukherjee, COO Ricoh India Ltd. (represented the suppliers industry); AK Sinha, director of printing; Vijay Kumar Chopra CMD Punjab Kesari group of newspapers (represented the media); Dr Rajendrakumar Anayath (represented the print education); Ashwani Gupta, hon. treasurer AIFMP (represented the apex body of 2,50,000 printers of India) and Parveen Aggarwal, president of OPA. Besides, the ‘Presidential Print Awards’ were given to the presidents of 51 printers associations of different cities.
