Anjana Saha of Ricoh India Ltd honoured

A promising lady in the printing industry, Anjana Saha, national business and marketing manager, Ricoh India Ltd, has recently been conferred with an award for “Outstanding Services Rendering to Printing Industry“ by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP). She has also won various awards from Ricoh for her contribution and performance.

“My 15 years journey in the graphic arts industry has been very educative,” shares the beaming Anjana, who joined the graphic arts industry after completing her formal education in printing technology from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Later, she pursued her MBA in Marketing to enhance her skills further. After working in various capacities in MNCs, Anjana has been with Ricoh India for last five years and accountable for driving profitable revenue growth through marketing, operational and business development efforts. She is also responsible for ‘product life cycle management’ of various ‘digital production printers’ – colour, black & white cutsheet and continuous feed, wide format LED printers and large format signage printers. She has travelled to different parts of the world – Japan, USA, Europe, Singapore, and Thailand for various training programmes.

“Whatever knowledge I gain from such programmes, I try to implement the same in Indian market,” she adds.

Anjana also extensively travels in India to meet various customers – South to North and East to West. “I try to understand customers’ requirements and try to strategies the product as per the Indian context,” she shares. She even shares her wealth of knowledge with various printing colleges in the country – GJ University, Hissar; Regional Institute of Printing Technology, Kolkata etc. “I always motivate students specially girls and push them to come forward in the printing industry. Success is bound to come if you work hard,” she adds.

An avid reader, Anjana loves to read various management, marketing and philosophy books. Her favourite book is Marketing Warfare by Al Ries, Jack Trout and How to Create, Win & Dominate Markets by Philip Kotler.
