Open house by Ryobi in Fukuyama!

Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology (RMGT) recently hosted an open house at RMGT’s manufacturing facility in Fukuyama. The open house was attended by customers and RMGT representatives from various countries across world, including India.

The open house was focused to showcase various solutions for packaging Industry. At the open house, RMGT showcased several solutions for packaging & commercial printing demonstrating the breakthrough technologies to achieve higher productivity with minimum manpower intervention, various automation features, consistent print quality and the benefits of advanced LED-UV technology.

RMGT showcased following three machines at the open house: RMGT 10 series – 1050 TP-1+8color + UV coating Tandem Perfector printing press: The RMGT 10 series Tandem Perfector press enables double-sided printing in a single pass without tumbling the sheet. The press also accommodates the one-pass multi-colour perfecting of heavy paper stock upto 0.8 mm. Running at speeds of 16,200 sheets per hour, the 1050TP is well-suited for high-quality front back package printing.

RMGT 10 series – 1050 LX- 6 colour + double coater press with inline quality control system: The 1050LX 6 color double coater offers high speed printing at 17,100 sheets per hour. The press comes equipped with aninine quality inspection system and features a sheet transfer system that employs a unique air management technology and a skeleton transfer cylinder that keeps the surface of the printed sheets from coming into contact with the cylinder to prevent scratching and smearing.

RMGT 9 series -920PF-8color with LED UV printing press with inline quality control system: 920PF-8+LED+UV press is RMGT’s A1 size convertible perfector that comes with an inline quality control system. Running at a maximum speeds of 13,000 sheets per hour, the press supports a maximum paper size of 635 x 920 mm (25” x 36.22) (perfecting) and a minimum of 370 x 410mm (14.57” x 16.14”), with a paper thickness of 0.04-0.4 mm. This is the most favoured Convertible perfector press in world today for excellent combination of high productivity with reliable print quality. RMGT has installed more than 200 920PF-8 presses all over the world so far, which includes installation of 20 presses at one of Japan’s biggest web-2-print company.

The visit was well received by Indian customers, resulting in signing of two deals. Provin has installed 51 RMGT presses in India over the past 3 years with many more machines to be installed in coming months.
