RICOH Pro C720s makes JKM Offset find new path in short-run production

JKM Offset attains a new height in its overall production as this New Delhi-based printer has recently installed a RICOH Pro C720s digital press in its production unit located in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II. This newly adopted RICOH digital press is perfectly designed tao meet short-run production at the speed of 72 pages per minute in outstanding image quality of 1200 x 1200 dpi multi-bit imaging, regardless of paper type. “Sharpness, clarity and speed of this machine is what it impressed me a lot in the first place,” said Deepak Bhattacharya of JKM Offset.

Deepak has been in the industry for more than three decades. JKM is his brainchild incepted around five years back with the adoption of a line of printing presses, including the current array of Adast Dominant and Heidelberg machines in the portfolio. RICOH Pro C720s is the first digital press adopted by company for a new pathway towards the short-run printing of different items, such as brochures, catalogues, visiting cards, export tags, certificates and other personalised pieces. “Main objective of the adoption of this RICOH digital press was to instigate a make-shift arrangement in our print production,” mentioned Deepak.

Referring the quality that RICOH Pro C720s delivers in the same texture of the offset process, Avijit Mukherjee, head–Production Printing Business Group, RICOH India Ltd remarked, “This RICOH press is a complementary to JKM Offset’s existing portfolio of offset machines. He added that this digital press churns out the first cut of the huge volume of job, where the rest will get printed on the offset machines. JKM Offset has been associated with a number of corporate customers located in Delhi and NCR areas. To name a few, leading corporates like IFFCO Tokio, Eli Lilly, Baidyanath Ayurved, Hosley India and others have formed JKM Offset’s existing list of prominent clients. Revealing what the company is looking ahead for a next level development, Deepak mentioned about setting up of a one-stop-solution facility including the finest post-press operations.
