Paper Idea announces the joining of Rohit Panchal as director sales

Rohit Panchal has been appointed as director sales, at Paper Idea, taking the reign of operations from 11th May 2011. Panchal brings with him over 12 years of experience in the printing industry. He would play a leading role with sales and business development at Paper Idea along with strategically driving the entire photo business vertical along with other distributorship portfolios of Paper Idea in coordination with company’s CEO, Anuj Mehta. Most recently Panchal was working with HP India as regional manager, handling the small and wide format business of HP Designjet. Prior to his position with HP, Panchal had a seven-year stint with Canon India working with the graphic arts business division of Canon.

Paper Idea is moving steadily with a planned strategy. “The appointment of Panchal is a clear message that the company plans to place right leaders at the right place. We are in the process of laying a solid foundation with sound business practices and with the best portfolio to serve the key markets in the Asia-Pacific region and European markets as well,” said Anuj Mehta, CEO of Paper Idea, adding, “We ultimately plan to focus on expanding our market reach, product offering and marketing for the Paper Bind range. The Indian operations will be the nerve centre and window to the Asian market. In the 3rd quarter of 2011 Paper Bind would function as a separate legal entity and would deliberate with Asian and European markets with resellers, dealers and channel partners.
