HP showcases its latest series of eco-friendly Latex technology-based printers at ISD’11
One of the global leaders in imaging and printing solutions, HP showcased its exciting series of eco-friendly Latex technology-based HP Scitex and HP Designjet large format printers at the India Sign + Digital 2011 (ISD ’11) at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from May 13-15, 2011. The company also participated in Live Experience Zone at ISD ’11 to display various interesting works at Wrapper Zone, WallArt Zone, TextileTemptation Zone, Events&Show Zone, etc for its customers to experience various large format printers and applications what HP offers.
The Latex printers on display were HP Scitex LX800 and HP Designjet L25500. The applications of these printers cover everything from printed/fabricated items like personalised wallpaper, furniture upholstery, vehicle wraps, indoor and outdoor signages, retail graphics to banners, backlit displays, textile printing, and much more. These flagship printers use HP patented Latex inks which are water-based and odourless, hence requiring no special ventilating system at the print service provider’s premises. Thus, they pose no health hazard to the workers and are also good for home applications like wallpaper printing. In addition, the company also displayed its HP Scitex FB500 flatbed printer for printing on rigid surfaces like wood, glass, tiles, ACP, sunboard, etc and HP Designjet Z6200 photo series large format printer for commercial photolabs and PSPs.
One of the star products at display, HP Scitex LX800 is an eco friendly 3.2 mt printer which gives high quality prints with true production speed. Consumers can choose from wide range of media and can print directly on vinyl, wallpaper, polyester fabrics, etc which can be used as vehicle wraps, interior decorations, customized wallpaper, POP display materials, etc. This printer delivers stunning quality at an unrivalled production speed. Also, its water-based Latex inks have no hazard, and are non-flammable and non-combustible. This spectacular printing device doesn’t require special ventilation or external dryer and hence is ideal for indoor printing as it gives odourless production.
HP Scitex FB500 is sleekly designed printer which fits perfectly even in a smaller shop or office. This outstanding printer offers the full productivity of a flatbed printing device with a low price point for entry-level customers. This multitasking machine with automated features delivers job very quickly with an efficient workflow. It chooses the right speed and delivers the expected quality to its customers. This single machine can print from any rigid or flexible substrate.
Among the range of plotters, HP Designjet L25500 was displayed during the exhibition that has the unique characteristic of producing both indoor and outdoor commercial signage as well as home wallpaper applications from the same. Customers can explore different kind of media starting from the coated media, polyester fabric, canvas, leatherite, HDPE to low cost papers without treatment. Users can experience a complete hassle free, low maintenance and healthy – safe environment with this Latex-based printer. This printer also gives odourless printing without any external cost like ventilation or drier.
Yet another state-of-the-art printing device, HP Designjet Z6200, is the fastest heavy-duty photo printer in its class. The printing speed of this machine is up to 140 square meter/hour with the best printing quality. The printer delivers best of POP materials, signage and other display materials as well as photo portfolios, photo-and-canvas prints for exhibitions.
