Ricoh India ties up with Momentum Infocare as its first acquisition in IT sector

Close on the heels of achieving manifold expansion by offering comprehensive office solutions, new products to enhance customers’ satisfaction, Ricoh India Limited acquired Noida-based Momentum Infocare Private Limited – a company known for comprehensive range of IT enabled services. This tie-up is Ricoh India’s first acquisition in the IT sector, which envisaged them to penetrate into new market segments where the fast changing information technology has brought about drastic changes in the working of any organisation. Tetsuya Takano, managing director and chief executive officer, Ricoh India mentioned that the acquisition would be significant in nature as they found a complete synergy in Momentum Infocare.

Looking ahead to achieve three times growth in the next three years, Ricoh India’s new collaborative move has a vision to offer its clients a package of IT services to bring efficiencies in work, reduce cost and a complete turnaround. Gurprit Singh, director, Momentum Infocare remarked, “We think that now is the right time to join forces with Ricoh India as there are huge opportunities to leverage each other’s strengths and achieve our long-term vision of becoming leading system integrators in the country.” Ricoh’s presence all across India with its strong team ensures a new gain through such mutual tie-up.
