Technical seminar on plates

Creed Engineers and Kodak India jointly organised a technical seminar in New Delhi focusing on analog flexo plates – the new Flexcel SRX plates from Kodak and the water washable plates from JET. The event marked success bringing together a remarkable number of the important flexo prepress service providers and label printers in a relaxed and thoughtful context.

On the occasion, PK Agarwal, joint president of Uflex Industries was the guest of honour. Shahnawaz Ghaus of Creed made detailed presentations on the company’s offerings. Creed Engineers is a provider of a wide variety of solutions for the security, label, transpromo and packaging industries. These solutions encompass machinery, consumables and software from leading manufacturers such as ABG, Aquaflex, Busch, CEM, CMC, HP, Jet, Kodak, Nautilus, Rotatek, Schneider and Schober.

Giving a brief overview, Suhas Kulkarni, Kodak national business manager for packaging in India said that Kodak is not just a plate and machine supplier but is a total solution provider from consumer solutions such as digital cameras and photo kiosks in Croma and Big Bazaar retail chains to industrial solutions for newspaper, commercial and package printing.

The presentations were also given by Pradhul of Creed. The seminar was concluded with a vote of thanks by Ranesh Bajaj, director, Creed Engineers and felicitation of HS Malhotra of AM Board; Deepanshu Goel of Creative Flexo and Rutul Zaveri of Pin Mark Private Ltd for adopting the latest Kodak Thermoflex technology.
