New CEO and CFO for EFI

Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFI) has appointed Jeff Jacobson, a 30-year veteran of the digital imaging and industrial technology sector, as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Jacobson will retain his position as Executive Chairman. Jacobson succeeds Bill Muir, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

Prior to joining EFI, Jacobson served as Chief Executive Officer of Xerox. He also served as both President of Xerox’s Technology Business and President of Xerox’s Global Graphic Communications Operations. Prior to joining Xerox in 2012, Jacobson was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Presstek, a leading manufacturer of digital offset printing solutions.

The company has also appointed veteran tech finance executive Grant Fitz as its new chief financial officer. Fitz replaces long-time EFI executive Marc Olin, who will assume the COO role at EFI. Fitz brings nearly 30 years of financial and operational experience overseeing accounting, business support, and financial planning and analysis in the print marketing, tech and automotive fields. Fitz has a proven track record as a talented and strategic finance leader. He comes to EFI from Valassis, a leading print and digital marketing technology and consumer engagement company, where he also served as the CFO. Prior to that, he was the corporate vice president and CFO at Xerox Technology.
