On the recent Heidelberg installations, Mehul A Desai, founder chairman & CEO of MOS says, “When we wanted to enter into offset printing Bharat Deolekar, our production head was of the strong opinion that the choice should be none other than Heidelberg. In fact, we have not considered any other brand; but decided to buy new Heidelberg presses. A team from MOS visited Chennai to have a look at the presses and the deal was discussed and closed without any delay. Initially, a team of five technical people attended a five day training programme at Heidelberg PMA at Chennai; and the three Heidelberg presses were installed in one go in June 2010, at our Malad facility. Our technical staff is very happy with the Heidelberg presses because of their problem free functioning. In less than a year, the three presses have printed over 25 million impressions each, with one crossing the 30 million mark recently.”

MOS is involved only in commercial printing and its portfolio includes direct mailers, newsletters, posters, brochures, leaflets, diaries, books, tent cards and menu cards. Being highly excited and optimistic about the future of MOS, Mehul Desai foresees MOS setting up satellite units of smaller sizes in smaller cities to cater to the local business needs – after all greater growth is happening in such cities.
