Beijing to host China Green Printing Summit 12

By the year 2020, China is predicted to be a world leader in the printing industry, a change that will surely bring China’s traditional methods under scrutiny as the world continues onward in its ‘green’ movement. Currently, China’s printing industry is under growing pressure from the world to be more environment-friendly. As a result, it is essential that the industry is provided the necessary resources and funding to upgrade all technology. More importantlies, all professional practicing in the trade must be familiarised with China’s newly-updated policies and regulations for the printing business.

Keeping this in mind, members of the printing industry from all over the nation have been invited to attend the first China Green Printing Summit, to be held at the Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center in Beijing during January 12-13, 2012. The attendees will also have the opportunity to raise their concerns regarding the industry, getting essential insights on why there is such an urgent need to become a ‘greener’ planet. Prominent speakers to be invited include representatives from The Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China, the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China, Standardization Administration of China, Beijing Academy of Printing & Package Industrial Technology, and officials from top tier companies such as Heidelberg, manroland, BEIREN Printing Machinery, RR Donnelly, ZIJIANG Enterprise, Shanghai Electric Printing & Packaging Machinery Group, etc.
