A provider of content, print and fulfillment solutions to publishers, corporates, education institutions and governments, Mumbai-based Repro India Ltd has recently added one more merit badge to its dashboard. The internationally coveted FOGRA certification was awarded to Repro, making it the first Indian print company to be awarded this certification. An internationally recognised mark of distinction for sheet-fed and web offset printers, FOGRA Certification demonstrates a printer’s commitment to the highest standards in print quality.

“A team of international colour management experts conducted an extensive survey at Repro’s state-of-the-art facility. Usually, the entire certification process is completed in a span of about six months. Repro completed the standardization and certification activities in a record time of 51 days as most of the processes set by our in-house pre-press centre were at par with the requisites for the certification. Now, we are FOGRA – PSO 12647 certified for processes, including pre-press, digital proof (contract proof), CtP, and press (Ryobi). It assures the clients that we can produce accurate reproduction of their work and demonstrates Repro’s commitment of producing international quality books,” commented Vijay Jadhav, AGM –Manufacturing Excellence, Repro India Ltd.

Repro has been awarded various international certifications for its different processes that are integrated in its value added solutions for a multitude of clients spread across the globe. “We have been awarded numerous certificates such as ISO 14001:2004 for our environment management systems, ISO 9001:2008 for our quality management systems, FSC & PEFC certifications for paper, SEDEX compliance for enabling responsible supply chain practices,” said Vijay, adding, “We bring efficiencies to our customer’s value chain by providing them a one stop solution to their needs, right from managing and repurposing content, to printing and binding to delivery anywhere across the globe.” For more info, visit: www.reproindialtd.com
