Xeikon unpacks two new digital presses based on new generation dry toner technologies

Xeikon has announced the launch of two new digital presses—Xeikon SX30000 for the graphic arts industry and Xeikon CX300 for the label industry. SX 30000 is based on a new generation dry toner technology which the company calls its Sirius technology and CX300 features the next generation Cheetah 2.0 technology. In 2017, Xeikon announced the termination of its Trillium liquid toner programme, switching to developing of a new dry toner technology. After that, the company introduced its campaign ‘Power of Dry Toner, heralding unique power of the dry toner technology.

Powered by the new Sirius technology, Xeikon SX30000 is designed to handle a printing width of 20 inch on a diverse range of substrates at 98 ft/min, 404ppm A4), increasing more than 50 speed on an average throughout the range of 40-350 gsm as compared to the previous platform.
