Om Color Creations, a complete pre-press unit based at Dehradun Uttrakhand, has become the better value added capacity producer of CTP plates. They have existing 4648 Cron machine and 4632 Cron CTCP and with the latest addition of new thermal machine of 4664 ThermoStar T-9 at Dehradun industrial area, their capacity has shoot up to almost 2800 plates per day.

Om Color Creation is the pioneer in the field of CTP, starting their operations with one PC as a designing unit way back in 2002 by Amit Garg, CEO of the company, who left his corporate job from Bangalore and shifted to Dehradun. Gradually, they upgraded the systems from single PCs to 2 Katana and one Scitex machine (film processing machine), operating from 3 different locations. With the changing demand of the industry, he was first one to respond immediately and put up the first CTP unit in Uttrakhand.

Amit is a graduate from NIT Kurukshetra while his wife Dr Kamna Garg is Ph.D and together, they are working together to serve the printing industry. They believe in customer faith and good trust, besides better brand value. They believe that good relationship with customers is very important.Amit is the first generation entrepreneur and is very much concerned about the nature also. His campaign to use eco-friendly bags and say no to polythene was widely acknowledged by Dainik Jagran.

On sharing about his views to choose Thermal over CTCP,Amit says,“Choosing an engine from Technova was a strategic choice as they have a wide support network and their support with the plates is immense. Manoj Agarwal from Technova was very supportive and Technova is one such Indian company with wide variety of product and their customer orientation is great. Without doubt, it is the time for Thermal and Technova was the first choice and in the packaging industry, customers have started demanding Thermal Plates. We also will be using Elite plates in place of baked pates as there will be no dot gain, which is the biggest flaw in baked plates.”
