Rakesh Press turns shipshape with Taiwanese technology

“Relentlessly striving to achieve optimum quality for redefining service standards and offering holistic solutions to our valued clients, we have constantly been burgeoning with eight to ten percent growth since inception in 1950. To further enhance our productivity, we are insisting on strengthening the infrastructure procuring world-class technologies. In this process, we have recently purchased state-of-the-art TY-100JC universal spray powder extraction system and TY-200 optical register punch machine from Rado Packaging Machines Pvt Ltd, and soon will also install a digital press for catering short run jobs, apart from having bigger premises,” stated Rakesh Bagai, CEO, Rakesh Press, in conversation with Ajeet Singh, assist editor, Print & Publishing.

Situated at Naraina Industrial Area in New Delhi, Rakesh Press is an ISO 9001:2001 certified company providing complete range of printing services to a huge clientele from India and overseas. Host of awards they received over the years including SAPPI (2006) reveals success of their endeavours in offering landmark quality.

Talking about the newly installed systems, Rakesh mentioned, “TY-100JC universal spray powder extraction system has enabled us to maintain clean and healthy working environment for our press operators. Upper unit of this system fitted on our KBA Rapida 105 Universal press effectively extracts free floating powder and reduces spray powder spreading on the non-printed area of the sheets; while the powder falling on the ground or under the press is extracted and collected by the bottom unit, which is disposed off easily.

“Previously, we had to spend lot of time in keeping our pressroom neat and clean by constantly making efforts but after having installed this highly efficient system, our team can rather focus on core activity of printing operations resulting improvement all over, which indirectly increase revenues. Obviously, we feel quite happy with this productive investment in TY technology,” Rakesh conveyed further.

“TY-200 optical register punch machine is ensuring increase in efficiency, reduction in make-ready wastage, and zero plate re-makes due to zero plate punching and bending registration errors, while requiring minimum maintenance. Equipped with CCD camera enabling magnification of print register marks up to optical zoom for easy visual inspection, it helps us to make print register perfect in the shortest possible time,” commented Rakesh.

Taiwan-based Tarng Yun Co Ltd has effectively been operational in India with the establishment of Rado Packaging Machines Pvt Ltd in Greater Noida.
